I have now been married to my lovely wife, Andrea, for about a year (Married: June 19, 1999). At the present time, she is great with child (to use a biblical phrase) or expecting (to use a modern one). She is due September 11, 2000. It is going to be a girl whom we will be naming Rachael Elizabeth. We are very excited.
I am a computer science major attending Oklahoma State University. I work on the OSU campus as a Lotus Notes developer for Information Systems Services. I am an avid Linux user and enjoy programming very much. I can program reasonably well in Java, C, C++, HTML, Perl (a little), PHP (my newest language), Pascal (my first language), Lotusscript, and general Lotus Notes programming.
I would have to say my favorite hobby is woodworking and general handyman stuff. Basically, I like to build things. I have built a variety of things, including some Nik-Nak Shelves for my wife, Windowboxes for the front of the house, a Kitchen Counter/Cupboard type item, a small chain link fence, and some other stuff.
I attend University Heights Baptist Church where I am a member of the Newly & Nearly Married Couples class. I believe in the importance of the institution of the family and, ergo, my hero is Dr. James Dobson of Focus on the Family.
